Updates Galore

Where to start?! We've met with the Vicar, and planned a little of the service. We've chosen entrance and recessional music. My dress is sitting in my bedroom at my parents house...I still need to buy my shoes though. The bridesmaids are all dressed, and the groom has a suit appointment on Monday. Save The Dates went out this week, and the invitations are all made. We need to start putting together the information to go with them and finalise our Gift Lists.

Our Vicar and Worship Leader and Wedding Co-Ordinator have all been amazing - so open to ideas and full of GREAT suggestions. Our hymns and songs are in the Worship Leader's tender care, along with our absolute trust and certainty that he's going to do a great job with them. At the Vicars' suggestion (and with help from our Co-Ordinator), we've designed a background for the slides during the service; we have a friend on standby to help make the slideshow for during the signing of the register, and ideas for the order of service design. My Wedding Co-Ordinator also happens to be Brand Manager for Galaxy chocolate (part of the Mars empire) and reckons she can source us enough chocolate for our wedding favours TOTAL WIN :)

Despitre having done so much already, the To-Do list seems to be getting longer each day as more things come to mind that we'd like/that we still need to do. Menus need to be chosen, wine needs to be tasted (an arduous task I know!) We need insurance of various kinds. We need flowers and buttonholes. We need to finalise cake details. We need to sit down and make a proper list!!

We are still counting our blessings every day, thankful both for each other and for our families around us,

Blessed Beyond Measure

Its been THE most hectic few weeks trying to tie everything together, but through it all, we've been reminded time after time how blessed we are in this whole process. SO much is now organised - the church and the venue, the Worship Band, Sound Engineer, Vicar and Wardens. Dresses and suits. Hair and make-up. Cars. Photos. Every step of the way, people have been there to offer their services, often free of charge (the current running total that people are saving us is around £3k)

I have found myself a fiancé who is happy to sit and make invitations while I find addresses to send them to.

I have a mum who sat patiently while I had my bridal tantrum whilst dress shopping and then found the perfect shoes for me to wear.

I have a God who has provided all this in our lives and is looking after us every day.

We are blessed beyond measure, and so thankful with it
